Huge Beast – Day 54

0800

It amazed me how anyone that does general physical labour could keep their shoulders over their head all day. I had been doing repair work on my Rifter for only a small while and already my shoulders were burning. Still, couldn’t let her see that.

I smiled down at Myxnee, who was laying on her back under the ship, working on a different set of repairs. Ever since we’d gotten married I’d come to appreciate the many aspects of her I hadn’t really had the chance to know before. Retiring from the pirate life had been the best thing for her, and for us.

She smiled back at me, deep and true love in her eyes. Continue reading

Huge Beast – Day 52

0552

Completely exhausted. There was no other way to describe it. Bed was warm. Sexy woman wrapped around me was warm. I was achy, incoherent. How bad could it be to pass up one workout and enjoy some sleep? Sleep is important, right? You’ve had eight hours. Besides, is it worth going if I just go through the motions? The motions of success are better than the motions of failure. Bulk back anyway. I hate wide grip pullups. Your feelings don’t change the reality of a situation. Dammit voice in my head, stop quoting rules! I’m up! I’m up! Continue reading

Huge Beast – Day 51

0545

Pre-workout drink. The usual.

Bulk Legs. Legs are a massive muscle group. Over 70% of your muscle growth hormone are in your legs. I’ve always laughed when I see these guys with “superhero” type bodies, you know the ones – all upper body focus with tiny little chicken legs. Somehow they think that looks good and is effective. If that were true, wouldn’t the top sprinters have only massive legs and tiny little upper bodies? It would look equally ridiculous and there is no such thing as spot training. You want to be big? Train your legs. Continue reading

Huge Beast – Day 48

0525

My neocom tells me I slept for 7:57 minutes with 5 hours of that being deep REM sleep. Good stuff.

0535

Pre-Workout drink = 500mg arginine, 1500 mg BCAA, 1500 mg tribulus. Arginine increases vascularity, and who doesn’t want that look of veins popping out from under the skin? BCAA, or branched chain amino acid is the building blocks of muscle growth. Never skimp out on these. As for Tribulus, it tells the brain to create testerone. Aside from the random erection throughout the day, it’s also essential for muscle development. Continue reading

Huge Beast – Day 47

0730

Leave time means I get to sleep in. It’s a very welcome treat.

0800

I fell like a primate. My arms are engorged. I can hardly get my shirt off in the change room. Good times.

Two minutes doesn’t feel like a long time to remain silent and give thanks for those that fell for our freedoms. I’m disgusted that those around me can’t even take that small amount of time in remembrance. I truly believe that those that don’t appreciate freedom do not deserve it.
