CSM 7 – How I would fix the game

TL;DR – I wouldn’t; I’m not a game developer. I do have a voice however.

I am a player. As a player there are continually broken mechanics that directly affect my game style. It irritates me to no end. I immediately think of a dozen ways to improve the broken system, then head to the forums to troll!

Once there, of course, I see that this broken mechanic has already been identified, and sometimes there are multi-page threads with ideas far more brilliant than mine as to how to fix said busted shit. Continue reading →

Sunshine Burgers

Whether planet bound or capsule bound, sometimes we all need a little sunshine in our lives. Suns have long been know to be a key factor in the sustaining of life; their rich energies bathe us in cosmic warmth. Of course, sometimes it’s fun to cripple a ship and watch as the immense heat and gravitational pull of a system star completely devour our enemies, but that’s a story for another time.
