The first day of the final phase – the aptly named Beast Phase. Build Chest/Tris, a workout I hadn’t done in over six weeks. For chest, I upped my weights by 20 lbs, a significant increase. I upped my tricep weights by 10 lbs, also something of an aggressive move.
Here’s the thing about victories – they’re awesome and motivating. I completed the workout fully and was still itching for more. I could tangibly remember the last time I had done the workout – I checked my tracking data – it wasn’t so good. Sure, I finished the workout before, but failed on the very final set of 60 second bench tricep dips. It felt amazing that now I could breeze through the workout with such heavy weights and still want more. It reiterated how successful the Body Beast program had been for me thus far.
