Bulk Shoulders. My back still aches. My entire body is tight. I feel slightly feverish. Suck it up, snowflake.

Done. Pumped. Covered in sweat. There is a great sense of accomplishment when you reach a goal, no matter how small it may be. I look at my training calendar to see what I’ll be training tomorrow. I try not to think too far ahead. I do the planning up front then focus on each and every moment. Tomorrow is a rest day. I breathe a sigh of relief. I really need a rest day. I’ve drained my reserves.

The after workout pump always amazes me. If you don’t know what I’m referring to, it’s that state of being that exists for about twenty minutes after a workout. You’re muscles are engorged, you’re vascular, and quite simply put, you look better than you actually are. It’s motivating. It’s like a snapshot into your future if you remain consistent. Here’s a picture of my after workout pump.
