1. Sounds a little like my old friend Rolf St.Ana (yes: St.Ana Distilleries, home of Arakeen Dew and Panther Sweat — don’t ask: it’s a long story, but none of the £££ is his).
   He used to delve dunegons in his spare time, and he had 4 basic rules:
   #1 — Hit it !
   #2 — Hit it Again !!
   #3 — Hit it Harder !!!
   and then, if all that failed:
   #4 — Run Awaaay !!!!!

   Here’s hoping you can stick to the first three, and that your enemies find #4 an aspiration.
